Download HiFam from the App Store or Google Play, create a family account, and your 7-day free trial starts automatically. No credit card needed up front — you'll only be prompted to enter payment details if you choose to continue after the trial ends.
Open the HiFam app and go to Parent Dashboard → Family values. You'll find toggles for topics like faith, content filtering, and thinking style — plus a free-text field where you can describe your family's approach in your own words. Changes take effect on the next conversation your kids have with HiFam.
Yes. HiFam is built for families, so you can add as many children as you'd like under a single subscription. Each child gets their own profile, and you can apply different age-appropriate settings for each one from the Parent Dashboard.
HiFam watches for patterns that suggest radicalisation, self-harm, bullying, or predatory contact. When something meaningful shows up, you'll get a gentle alert in the Parent Dashboard — not a word-by-word transcript. The goal is to help you start a conversation, not to spy on your child. Yes. Conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell or share your data with advertisers. You can export or delete your family's data at any time from the Parent Dashboard. For the full details, see our Privacy Policy — or email hello@hifam.com and we'll walk you through it.
You can cancel anytime from the Subscription settings in the app, or directly through your App Store or Google Play subscription manager. If you cancel during the trial, you won't be charged. If you cancel after, you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
We want you to feel good about HiFam. If something isn't working for your family within the first 30 days of a paid subscription, write to hello@hifam.com and we'll sort out a refund — no forms, no hoops.
First, check that your values are saved in Parent Dashboard → Family values and that you've tapped Save values after any edits. If things still feel off, take a screenshot of the conversation and send it to hello@hifam.com. We take value mismatches seriously and investigate every report.
HiFam is available on iOS 16+ and Android 10+, worldwide, in English. More languages are on the way. If you'd like to know when your language lands, drop us a note at hello@hifam.com.
